Dr. Muhammad Tahir Arain is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner with over 7 years of diverse clinical experience across Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, the Maldives, and Ireland. Currently based in Ireland, he provides in-person and remote GP consultations, with a strong focus on chronic disease management, family medicine, and emergency care.

A graduate of Liaquat College of Medicine & Dentistry, Dr. Tahir holds postgraduate qualifications in Family Medicine (MCPS, Pakistan) and Emergency Medicine (FRCEM Primary, UK). He is fully registered with the Irish Medical Council and has also been certified by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties as a Family Medicine Specialist.

Dr. Tahir has worked extensively in primary care, urgent care, and telemedicine settings, managing over 200 consultations per week. His clinical expertise covers a wide range of conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, asthma, dermatological disorders, paediatrics, elderly care, women’s health, infectious diseases, and palliative care. He is also trained in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and basic life support (BLS), with experience in managing medical and surgical emergencies, both in hospitals and remote primary health care settings.

Fluent in English, Arabic, Urdu, Punjabi, and Sindhi, Dr. Tahir is known for his calm, patient-centered approach and his ability to communicate across diverse populations. He is passionate about holistic and preventive care and is committed to continuous professional development with a career goal of becoming a Consultant in Family Medicine.
