Dr. Ahmed Maklad is a highly skilled and dedicated medical doctor with extensive clinical training across multiple specialties, including surgery, internal medicine, pediatrics, and general practice. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine (MUDr.) from Masaryk University Faculty of Medicine .
Currently, Dr. Maklad is undergoing surgical residency training at University Hospital Brno, where he actively participates in emergency and elective surgeries, pre- and post-operative care, and trauma management. His hands-on experience in operating theaters and intensive care units has provided him with exceptional skills in surgical procedures and critical patient management.
In addition to his surgical expertise, Dr. Maklad has worked as a General Practitioner at Ghouraba GP Clinic in Cairo, Egypt, where he managed a wide range of chronic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, and respiratory diseases, emphasizing patient-centered care and long-term health management.
His clinical rotations in Brno's University Hospital have given him a strong foundation in internal medicine (cardiology, gastroenterology, pulmonology, hemato-oncology), geriatrics, pediatrics, and obstetrics & gynecology, enabling him to provide comprehensive and multidisciplinary medical care. His experience in geriatrics and palliative care has further refined his ability to manage complex medical cases with compassion and efficiency.
Dr. Maklad is certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) by the American Heart Association, ensuring his proficiency in managing emergency medical situations.
