About MUDr Nataliya
MUDr. Nataliya Kharlamova has worked in obstetrics and gynaecology since 2011, starting on the obstetrics and gynaecology ward of Luhansk Regional Hospital, where the Ukrainian specialisation was completed, followed by four years at the Akademie zdraví medical centre in Kyiv.
Since 2019 Dr Kharlamova has practised in the Czech Republic: first at Cheb Hospital, since 2020 on the obstetrics and gynaecology ward of Chomutov Hospital, and since 2023 also in an outpatient gynaecology clinic in Prague. The Czech licensing exams were passed in 2020 and the common trunk in obstetrics and gynaecology in 2023; the Czech specialist board exam is in preparation. Medical school was Luhansk State Medical University, graduating with honours.
Additional training covers colposcopy, ultrasound in obstetrics and gynaecology and laparoscopy, plus qualifications as a lactation consultant and in functional medicine. Patients value the calm, clear explanations, in Czech, Ukrainian or Russian.

What needs an in-person visit

Can I get contraception advice online?
Yes. Dr Kharlamova goes through your medical history, medicines, smoking status, blood pressure and preferences and recommends a suitable option — pill, patch, ring, coil or implant — and helps with side effects or switching method. Coil fitting and pelvic examination take place in a clinic.
What should I do about irregular periods?
Irregular periods have many causes, including stress, weight change, thyroid problems, polycystic ovary syndrome and perimenopause. The consultation maps out your cycle and suggests the right blood tests or ultrasound. Very heavy bleeding, or bleeding in pregnancy, needs urgent care.
